This model runs on Apple Silicon only (MLX). Point the endpoint at your own local server
(Ollama at http://localhost:11434/v1, or mlx_vlm server). For Ollama, allow CORS with
OLLAMA_ORIGINS=*. The page only talks to the endpoint you configure — nothing leaves your machine except to that endpoint.
